Overview
I was asked to develop a new brand and responsive web design for Finserve Nordic's new fund: Global Esports Fund. Esport is driving growth for technology companies worldwide and together with GP Bullhound, Finserve Nordic launched this fund in June 2020.

Innovation meets retro
Initial research revealed that the new fund would have a slightly different target group. In short, the new brand had to appeal to Finserve’s investors but also a younger and more tech savvy audience. Global Esport Fund wanted to showcase the brand as an innovative technology fund exposed to the esports industry yet balance with Finserve Nordics core values as a trustworthy, stable and long term financial partner. The identity was inspired by the name and their unique blend of play and grounded expertise.
Based on the notion of “retro gaming” I developed a new logotype, two suitable typefaces. and a visual language communicating honesty and stability as well as innovations and growth. A minimal colour palette in bright blue, black and white.
With the new brand identity in place I started the implementation. From responsive website, business cards to trade show communication.
